Original idea

This festival is the joint effort of various members of the local swing community in the city of Heidelberg. Some of us have been in Lindy Hop for very long, while others joined this community relatively recently. This concept tries to reflect our thoughts on what it means for us to be guests in this culture.

Our vision

After experiencing festivals and exchanges both as teachers and participants, we made the decision to create an event that helps us understand better an art form we love and enjoy. That is why we chose to collaborate with artists that bring new insight to our local and regional community, both artistically and culturally.
